Christmas 2006
Happy New Year! It has been a long time since I posted, so it's about time. These are pictures from Christmas, including our fantastic Christmas vacation to Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam. Ian, Emmerson and I first spent a few days in Singapore, then we met my mom and brother in Bangkok. While in Bangkok, we went on a riverboat tour, visited the Grand Palace and Reclining Buddha, shopped at the huge and crazy Chatuchak market, and toured Jim Thompson's house. After that we flew to Hanoi, Vietnam and visited Ho Chi Minh's mausoleum (you actually see him under glass-- as I mention below, creepy but cool), the "Hanoi Hilton" where John McCain was held prisoner (you can see his flight suit on display!), and Halong Bay. It was a great holiday and so much fun to be together!
