39 Weeks

This was last night-- the fancy top is actually a long batik baby sling used by a majority of Indonesian women. It's just a long piece of fabric that you loop around your shoulder, the baby, and then back again over the shoulder. An Indonesian friend bought these for me, and I'm anxious to give them a try! No baby yet, but I'm due in just a few days, and since the baby and I have a deal that it won't go over (at least not by too much), it should be any day now. Thanks for all of your love and support over the last nine months; it's made this whole process so much easier, and we just can't wait to introduce Baby D. to everyone this summer!

38 Weeks and Valentine's Day

These were taken on Valentine's Day. Ian and I went out for dinner and then had Blizzards at the new Dairy Queen! The presence of a DQ may seem mundane, but when good ice-cream is hard to come by, the significance of DQ is much more understandable. And they still serve Blizzards "Upside Down or it's Free!"

No baby yet, but this is my last week of work before I officially become a housewife (desperate, perhaps?) like Megan. Time to break out the stilettos?

37 Weeks

This was the day of our baby shower last Monday. It was held by the school social committee and was a very nice affair. We were given a fancy baby stroller as well as many other cute baby things. Today I went to the mall for a while and came home with more baby stuff; I evidently can no longer go shopping without buying something baby-related!
